We are thrilled to share a proud moment for our team - Ronja has successfully defended her thesis and officially earned her doctoral title! As the first PhD graduate from our research group, she has not only achieved an impressive personal accomplishment but also paved the way for many more to follow.

Her work, 'From Neurons to Behavior: Adaptations to natural light dynamics in hawkmoths', combines diverse methods to advance our understanding of insect vision and how it is adapted to the complexity of natural environments.
